I'm in New York City, preparing to move to MIT -- by preparing I mean I could go within the next 5 minutes, but I can't for the next 5 days. I'm just studying for placement exams (chemistry and differential equations), so I can hit the ground running. I've passed the two placement tests I've taken so far, but I'm still nervous.
July 25th, 2025.
I am currently in Asia, studying for placement exams for university. This is the summer before my freshman year, where someone once said your ego peaks, before it's beaten down by the school I will go to. I don't really think so, because I have never had a lot of confidence in myself being in the top 50% of my class. I think I'm going to take a lot of electrical engineering and physics courses, and hopefully get pretty good at both by the end of four years. I'm constantly repeating it's a journey, but I'm honestly a little scared I won't be able to keep up. I should really, really, really study for my computer science and biology placements.
